A Library Board position has unexpectedly opened up. If you applied during the previous round a few months ago, you can request to have your application resubmitted. You must do so in writing by emailing the Library Director at: nlevin@heightslibrary.org. If you did not previously apply, interested applicants can download an application from the Library website by filling out their online form at: bit.ly/CHUHLibBoardApp0325
Applications are due no later than noon, 12:00 p.m., on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Library’s administration office, located on the second floor of the Lee Road branch, 2345 Lee Road in Cleveland Heights.
Applicants may also submit completed applications online at director@heightslibrary.org.

Yesterday, ARTFUL and Coventry P.E.A.C.E. folks took a break to reconnect over lunch, sharing laughs, ideas, and much-needed time together. We then stopped by Lake Erie Ink to check out their inspiring new space—such a joy to see creativity thriving! A reminder that while things are changing, our community’s heart remains strong. 💛✨

Susan was a special soul. She helped with Playground Clean Up days, and volunteered for many of our special events. She was one of our biggest cheerleaders. Our hearts go out to her family, and her Artful Cleveland family.ARTFUL lost one of our founding members yesterday. Susan Prendergast designed beautiful beaded jewelry while also dabbling in sculpture and painting. When ARTFUL was just an idea I had in my head, Susan would accompany me on drives about town looking for space for us to begin. She dreamt big and lived a full life. Susan was a beloved member of our community and she will be greatly missed by her ARTFUL friends. Photo by Stephen Cutri

Shannon, you made it that way…and you will make the next place that way because you are super talented.
So sad. I loved having all of you as neighbors. You brought such love and community to this corner of Cleveland Heights. I can’t believe the library let it come to this. Big love to all the artists and activists and neighbors who created Coventry Peace over the years.
