The school district and City plan to sell the publicly owned Coventry School site, including Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park and Playground, the Green Space and the building that currently houses 8 nonprofits, a private school and a daycare.
Rather than leaving the fate of this site to an outside developer, the members of Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus have been working on a comprehensive vision for the site that addresses the needs, and concerns of all those involved. As we prepare to present our vision to City Council on Sept. 11, and then to the Community on Sept. 27, we are asking for your support by adding your name and comment to the list below.
The organizations of Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus have proposed redeveloping the site as a permanent home for arts and services, while preserving the playground and green space. With its proximity to the Coventry branch of the Heights Library, and Coventry Road commercial district, the site is unique in Northeast Ohio and ideal for innovative, community-focused development.
This is a priceless opportunity.
Let’s seize it together.

240 | Ms Patricia Hanavan | The organizations of the P.E.A.C.E. Campus are some of Cleveland Heights' greatest gems, and they've made the old school building into a tremendous community asset. Government agencies at every level should be bending over backwards to encourage this existing hub of arts and community. Many cities toil for years to try to develop such a center, and here we have one, fully formed. | Nov 18, 2017 |

237 | Mr Charles Owen | This proposal is a rare opportunity for Cleveland Heights to develop and protect a community landmark that has come to represent just what Cleveland Heights is made of. Let's not squander this special community asset. | Nov 10, 2017 |
236 | Ms Cynthia Larsen | My kids went to Coventry. My husband taught there, and now I work there at Lake Erie Ink. Coventry has been the center of my community since I moved here in 2000. I call Cleveland Heights the Berkeley of Ohio to needle my California relatives but also to underscore the importance of diversity, the arts, and creative expression in our community. | Nov 07, 2017 |
