Stand with Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus

The school district and City plan to sell the publicly owned Coventry School site, including Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park and Playground, the Green Space and the building that currently houses 8 nonprofits, a private school and a daycare.

Rather than leaving the fate of this site to an outside developer, the members of Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus have been working on a comprehensive vision for the site that addresses the needs, and concerns of all those involved. As we prepare to present our vision to City Council on Sept. 11, and then to the Community on Sept. 27, we are asking for your support by adding your name and comment to the list below.

The organizations of Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus have proposed redeveloping the site as a permanent home for arts and services, while preserving the playground and green space. With its proximity to the Coventry branch of the Heights Library, and Coventry Road commercial district, the site is unique in Northeast Ohio and ideal for innovative, community-focused development.

This is a priceless opportunity.
Let’s seize it together.

179 Devon Turchan As a professional theatre artist and a resident of Cleveland Heights, I have personally benefitted from the existance of this campus. It is in the interest of the community to keep programming platforms such as the P.E.A.C.E Campus alive and well. As Coventry continues to become corporateized, keeping this homegrown center as a crown jewel of what I grew up percieving to be a creative Mecca. Sep 07, 2017
